Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site Therapist role located in Costa Mesa, CA. The Therapist will provide individualized support and counseling to clients, utilizing personalized treatment plans to address their specific goals and needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, facilitating therapy sessions, monitoring client progress, identifying challenges, and collaboratively working through barriers to recovery. The Therapist will ensure a supportive and client-driven approach throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Practical experience in individual counseling, mental health therapy, and recovery-focused treatment
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet individual client needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client trust and rapport
- Knowledge of behavioral health best practices and evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Current licensure as a Therapist (LMFT/LCSW/LPC/LPCC or equivalent) in the state of California
- A passion for client-driven care and a compassionate approach to mental health and recovery
- Experience with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competencies is a plus
