We are an Aveda salon and spa, seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist/Nail Tech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cosmetology and a flair for creativity, providing exceptional hair care services to our clients. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, color treatments, and styling services while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to client preferences.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate hair care solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, color techniques, and product knowledge.
- Perform additional services such as nail care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
- Utilize software for appointment scheduling and client management.
- Upsell salon products and services to enhance client satisfaction and boost retail sales.
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients and managing check-ins/outs.
Skills
- Proficient in cosmetology practices with a strong understanding of color theory.
- Experience with hair extensions and barbering techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
- Ability to upsell products and services while providing exceptional customer service.
- Familiarity or similar salon management software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for the beauty industry.
