Role Description
The Plant Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in MN and NC (2 openings). This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the plant, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational excellence. Key tasks include managing staff, supervising production processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality assurance protocols, streamlining operations to optimize productivity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Operations Management, Production Planning, and Process Improvement is required.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with Safety Regulations, Compliance Standards, and Quality Assurance practices.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Technologies, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and Supply Chain Operations.
- Proven ability to analyze data and optimize resource allocation to meet production goals.
- A bachelor’s degree in Milling Science, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in plant operations or food ingredient manufacturing is highly desirable.
