Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, based in Indianapolis, Indiana for a Mitigation Technician. The Mitigation Technician will be responsible for responding to emergency situations such as water and fire damage, performing water extraction and structural drying, and conducting mold and microbial remediation. The role includes maintaining and operating restoration equipment, documenting work processes, and providing excellent customer service throughout the restoration process.
Qualifications
- Experience in water mitigation, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, and biohazard remediation is a plus.
- Proficiency in using restoration equipment like dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and extraction tools is a plus.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills for tracking projects and completing detailed reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks, including standing, lifting, and working in various environmental conditions.
- Certifications in water damage restoration, mold remediation, or related fields are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
