Job Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our compassionate team at Restored Counseling. The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health and helping others, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, is comfortable offering biblically informed clinical counseling, and is dedicated to helping clients find healing and hope.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy:
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients dealing with a range of mental health concerns.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Client Collaboration and Engagement:
- Foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients to create a safe and supportive space for healing.
- Collaborate with clients to set realistic goals and monitor progress throughout the therapeutic process.
- Clinical Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Regularly review and update treatment plans based on clients' evolving needs.
- Professional Development:
- Stay informed about the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and best practices in the field of mental health.
- Participate in supervision and ongoing training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge (CEUs).
- Collaboration with Team:
- Work collaboratively with other mental health professionals within the organization to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Attend occasional team meetings, case consults, and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current licensure in Missouri as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with expertise in working with couples (preferred) and a willingness to work with military and first responders.
- Ability to integrate biblical faith with clinical counseling services.
- Understanding of scripture as it relates to counseling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
