Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part Time Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition
- Support medication administration following proper protocols and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to assist with mobility and prevent injury
- Document care activities accurately in accordance with care plans and regulatory standards
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and social engagement to promote mental well-being
- Follow safety procedures diligently during patient transfers or heavy lifting tasks to prevent injuries
Requirements
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in providing direct support to residents or clients
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes in condition promptly
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and assisting residents with mobility needs
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others
