At JVI, we are a leading Orthobiologics and Regenerative Medicine practice dedicated to helping patients heal naturally and return to their active lives. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented LVN/Nutrition Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and passionate about providing high-level clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Operate and clean ultrasound (on/off, add patient, create exam, transducer care,
- ultrasound covers, deleting exams)
- Assist in pre/post-procedure patient care, phone calls, and documentation
- Support surgical and non-surgical procedures (PRP, BMAC, Adipose)
- Sterile and non-sterile cart setup for all procedures as needed
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality by following HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist in patient education regarding treatment plans and aftercare
Rooming & Cleaning:
- Clean and set up procedure rooms (including sterile prep)
- Clean exam rooms, trays, countertops, beds
- Maintain exam supplies and inventory
Shockwave Therapy Backup:
- Machine operation (on/off, calibration)
- Prep and clean room
- Patient setup for all treatment areas
- Photo documentation and session tracking
- Consent and note documentation
- Manage scheduling/time management throughout day with treatment
Inventory Management:
- Track and order from McKesson and Amazon
- Maintain proper inventory levels for all medical, procedural, and office supplies
Nutrition Coaching & Management:
- Manage nutrition patients, meal plans, & make adjustments as necessary
- Biweekly check-ins in person for InBody scans
- Document progress & enrollment status
Nurse Line/Team Call Management:
- Complete scheduled nurse related calls
- Answer nurse line as necessary throughout the day/call voicemails back by EOD
- Answer any medication/pre & post procedure questions/post operative questions
Team Collaboration:
- Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Assist the medical provider with projects and tasks as needed
- Critical thinking skills: Seeks resources for direction, when necessary. Performs independent problem solving. Decision-making is logical and deliberate.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or equivalent clinical training
- 2 years of clinical experience (orthopedics, regenerative medicine, or sports medicine a plus)
- Proficient in using Dr. Chrono EHR and clinical software (DeepScribe AI)
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to follow complex protocols and procedures
- A team player with a proactive attitude and high level of professionalism
