Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in wound management and a passion for providing high-quality patient care. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with complex wounds, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal healing outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with acute and chronic wounds.
- Develop individualized care plans based on assessment and patient needs.
- Perform advanced wound care procedures.
- Collaboration with our team
- Educate patients and their families about wound care and prevention strategies.
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress in EMR.
- Address the needs of patients with disabilities, ensuring accessibility and appropriate accommodations.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Louisiana.
- Extensive wound care experience and wound care certified(preferred).
- Compassionate approach to patient care; provide patient and caregiver education.
- Knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) related to wound care is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
