Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Master Level Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality mental health services, including individual, group, and family therapy, to diverse populations. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges while promoting resilience and recovery.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems, to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
- Deliver specialized counseling for conditions such as PTSD, grief, addiction, chronic pain, gender issues, and developmental disabilities.
- Manage crisis situations with effective crisis intervention and crisis management techniques to ensure client safety.
- Document all clinical interactions accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management and coordinate care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance treatment outcomes and contribute to evidence-based practices.
Skills
- Proven experience in psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral management strategies.
- Strong background in child & family counseling, working with children with autism or disabilities, and pediatrics.
- Expertise in crisis intervention, social work principles, and inpatient/outpatient settings.
- Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms for remote service delivery.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using DSM criteria; experience with ICD coding is essential.
- Skilled in group therapy facilitation and patient assessment techniques.
- Competent in managing cases involving mental health counseling related to trauma, grief, addiction, or gender issues counseling.
- Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
