We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Curriculum Coordinator to lead, support, and elevate our early childhood education program. This role is ideal for someone who loves mentoring teachers, strengthening lesson planning, and ensuring children receive a high-quality, engaging learning experience every day.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee implementation of our research-based curriculum across all classrooms (infants through Pre-K)
- Support and coach teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and child development best practices
- Ensure curriculum aligns with state standards and quality programs (including Texas Rising Star)
- Review and provide feedback on lesson plans weekly
- Monitor classroom environments to ensure engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
- Use child assessments to guide instruction and program improvements
- Plan and support school-wide learning themes, events, and enrichment activities
- Maintain organized curriculum materials and ensure teachers have access to resources
- Lead teacher trainings and ongoing professional development
- Partner with leadership to continuously improve program quality
- Experience in early childhood education (required)
- Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices
- Experience with curriculum programs (such as Frog Street or similar) preferred
- Leadership or coaching experience with teachers
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Passion for mentoring and developing educators
- Strong communication skills with both staff and leadership
