Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent eye/ hand coordination
- Sensitive / delicate touch
- Excellent vision (corrected is allowed)
- Attention to detail
- Responsible for set up and sterilization of instruments
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work with a microscope
- Work well in proximity with co-workers
- Must be able to stand or be seated in an upright position for 4-6 hours per shift
- Must be able to work 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or until the cases are finished (4 days a week), 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM (one day a week)
Education and Experience:
- Certified Medical Assistant, Sterile Processing Technician, Surgical Technician, Dental Assistant, Ophthalmic Technicians, Phlebotomists
- High school diploma or equivalent
