Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Conduct assessments and track progress for clients with behavioral and speech challenges.
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to promote skill development.
- Support children in social interactions and communication through play-based activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and client progress.
- Communicate effectively with families and provide support in both English and Spanish.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other therapists.
- Attend ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly in ABA therapy.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and training as required by the state.
