POSITION SUMMARY
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing exceptional support to customers through phone, email, fax, and EDI communications. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of customer orders, invoices, credits, and inquiries while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction. The position also supports internal departments, including Sales and Accounts Receivable, to ensure smooth daily operations.

- Customer Service Supervisor
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer communications via phone, email, fax, and EDI platforms
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including EDI order entry and transaction monitoring
- Review EDI transactions for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolutions
- Assist customers with product orders, pricing inquiries, literature requests, return goods authorizations (RGA), and defective return authorizations
- Prepare and process invoices and customer credits as needed
- Maintain and update customer account and file information within company systems
- Verify order accuracy and assist with quality control by reviewing co-workers’ orders when necessary
- Support Sales Representatives with customer-related requests and follow-up activities
- Assist Accounts Receivable with customer account inquiries and collection-related communications
- Notify customers of account holds and provide appropriate follow-up information
- Maintain current knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or order processing experience preferred
- Experience with EDI systems and electronic order processing preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
