Restoration Recovery is a mental health and substance abuse facility. We offer Hope to patients Struggling with Addiction. Our mission is to help patients heal, restore their life, and repair relationships that may have been damaged while struggling with addiction. We provide a team-based approach to Recovery and each patient will receive care from a physician, counselor, Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, and Case Manager to ensure they have the tools necessary to begin their journey. We are a Medication Assisted Treatment Facility that provides options for Opioid Use Disorder, Alcohol Abuse Disorder, and Substance Abuse Disorder. We also provide psychiatric services to patients in need of behavioral health medication.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team of professionals, medical providers, and therapists that are dedicated to our mission of Restoring Hope and Saving Lives. These individuals will have a passion for helping patients with Substance/Opioid Use Disorder.
RESPONSIBILITES:
We like for our CMA's to be cross-trained in both areas of Intake and Triage.
- Medical Assistant/Receptionist will have skills that assist in the ability to Schedule New and Existing appointments
- Ability to maintain pertinent patient demographic information at each visit (update patient phone number, address, emergency contact information, and insurance.)
- Answering in-coming calls, patient messages daily, and Triage patient calls as needed.
- Responsible for collecting patient copay/coinsurance and verification of benefits.
- Check patients in/out, monitor patient flow.
- Sending prior-authorizations to insurance companies.
- Maintains cleanliness of waiting room.
- Electronic Health/Medical Records Software knowledge.
- Triage Medical Assistant would have ability to perform urine drug screens, takes vitals, assist with patient evaluations/assessments, perform injections, and draw blood.
- Assist with patient prescription needs.
- Electronic Health/Medical Records Software knowledge.
- Ensure Exam Rooms are prepared, maintained, and sterilized daily.
- Monitors medical supplies and equipment for Triage

Expectations:
Experience in a medical practice
Experience with all aspects of patient care: examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures.
Excellent communication skills.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology, basic anatomy, medical equipment, and instruments to administer patient care.
Experience with taking vital signs, giving injections (intradermal, subcutaneous, and intramuscular), drawing blood, performing urine drug screens, and pregnancy tests, as ordered by provider.
Ability to maintain accurate records and record test results in the Electronic Health Record.
