Responsibilities
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience. Daily responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients with professionalism and warmth
- Answering multi-line phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Checking patients in and out efficiently
- Verifying dental insurance benefits and explaining treatment estimates
- Collecting patient payments and maintaining accurate financial records
- Coordinating the daily schedule to maximize efficiency
- Communicating with patients regarding appointments, treatment, and financial arrangements
- Managing patient records and maintaining accurate documentation
- Assisting with treatment plan presentations when needed
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance and protecting patient confidentiality
- Working closely with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience working in a dental office (required)
- Experience using EagleSoft practice management software strongly preferred
- Previous experience working in an out-of-network dental practice preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset
- Proficiency with computers and general office software
