What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Youth Ministry position at Restoration Church?
Restoration Church is seeking a Part-Time Director of Youth Ministry to launch and lead ministry for Middle School and High School students. Restoration Church is a 2-year-old church plant that is rapidly growing in Maryland's fastest-growing city, Frederick. We are affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene. We are looking for a self-starter, who is willing to develop plans to launch and lead this new ministry at the church.
Duties include:
- Development of ministry plan for Student Ministry
- Leadership of Student Ministry
- Volunteer recruitment and development
- Collaboration with Lead Pastor and Pastoral Staff in development of effective ministry.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Vibrant faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
- Experience in leading student ministry (or other pertinent experience)
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to problem-solve.
- In full heart and sympathy with the doctrine and beliefs of the Church of the Nazarene.
Compensation:
- Compensation is based on experience
- Salaried - $12,000-21,000 annually
