Job Description
Restoration Technician
The Restoration Technician is responsible for performing top-quality water mitigation services for residential and commercial properties, while delivering excellent customer service. This role involves hands-on, construction-related work and requires rotating 'on-call/emergency response' availability. Ideal candidates should have experience in residential and commercial mitigation; however, we will train the right candidate who possesses a positive attitude, is reliable, strong communication skills, and a drive for customer satisfaction. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in completing precise, software-assisted documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Communicate effectively by following up on all customer appointments, emails, and other correspondence.
- Perform water mitigation services in accordance with industry specifications and RestoPros protocols:
o Equipment Setup, Monitoring, and Removal.
o Demolition of Drywall, Flooring, and other Construction Materials
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to customer satisfaction.
- Leave each job site clean and orderly.
- Document the mitigation process using industry-standard software and photo documentation through RestoPros systems.
- Inspect jobs at various stages to uphold high standards and industry compliance.
- Develop moisture maps and create drying logs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked truck, warehouse, and company equipment
- Develop and supervise a growing team of restoration technicians as we scale our team.
- High School diploma or GED required.
Qualifications:

- Experience with general construction and demolition tools and tasks.
- Proficient in warehouse and equipment maintenance, including logging equipment usage, restocking inventory, and ensuring equipment remains in excellent conditions.
- Ability to manage systems, including data entry and experience with industry-related software.
- Experience working with Xactimate is preferred but not required.
- Ready and willing to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to undergo background check.
- Willingness to undergo a driving record check – must have a clean driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Comfortable climbing ladders, working at ceiling heights, and working in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
- Capable of repetitive pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying of objects.
Experience:
- Water Mitigation: 1 year of experience (Preferred)
- Restoration: 1 year of experience (Preferred)
- Experience with mold, smoke, and mitigation (Preferred)
- Construction: 1 year of experience (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- IICRC-WRT certification (Preferred)
