What You'll Do
When homes and businesses are impacted by water damage, you’ll be part of the frontline response team. This includes:
- Respond quickly to water damage emergencies in homes and businesses.
- Deliver excellent and empathetic customer service and keep clients informed throughout the process, help restore properties - and peace of mind - for customers.
- Assess and document the extent of water damage. Monitor and document progress, complete detailed paperwork for insurance claims.
- Utilize specialized equipment to remove standing water from floors, carpets and structures.
- Operate extraction equipment, air movers, and dehumidifiers.
- Remove damaged materials (wet drywall or carpet) and assist with repairs and restorations. Cleans and sanitizes affected areas to prevent mold.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and hardworking individuals with a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and customer service skills. This is a customer service role as much as it is a remediation and restoration role.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, wear applicable personal protective equipment as necessary
- Work on your feet and work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
- Able to commute to the Butler, PA depot each workday by 8:00 AM
- Computer literacy to be able to use proprietary mobile apps and scheduling software
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Able to pass a background check (working in people's homes)
- Prior restoration or construction experience is not required.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols (MSDS) due to exposures to sewage and mold
- Ability to obtain water damage restoration technician certification after training is required
