We are looking for a dependable Asbestos Abatement Technician to join our team and help safely complete remediation projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform asbestos abatement and removal in accordance with all state and federal regulations
- Set up containment areas, negative air machines, and decontamination chambers
- Safely remove, bag, and dispose of asbestos-containing materials
- Follow OSHA, EPA, and state safety protocols
- Wear required PPE and respirators during abatement work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Communicate effectively with project managers and team members
- Complete documentation and follow company procedures
Qualifications
- Current Asbestos Worker Certification preferred (training may be provided for the right candidate)
- Previous asbestos abatement, demolition, or restoration experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and construction environments
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and attention to safety
