Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments
- Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demos to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Manage inventory by conducting stock checks, participating in stocking activities, and assisting with inventory counts
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when answering customer calls or inquiries professionally and courteously
- Support supervising staff during busy periods by helping with cashier duties and ensuring smooth store operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments is preferred
- Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Demonstrated ability to perform retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and totals
- Previous supervising experience or leadership roles are a plus but not required
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Excellent phone etiquette, customer service skills, and the ability to upsell products confidently are essential
