We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Manage acute pain effectively, utilizing appropriate interventions and treatments.
- Provide care in specialized areas such as Gastroenterology and PICU as needed.
- Administer basic life support when required and respond to emergencies in clinical settings.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a Level II Trauma Center environment.
- Perform procedures including the administration of dermal fillers when applicable.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and families on health management strategies and preventive care.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner with an active state license.
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and clinical skills relevant to acute care settings.
- Experience in emergency room (ER) settings or Level II Trauma Centers is preferred.
- Knowledge of systems related to healthcare delivery and patient management.
- Ability to lift patients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
