Job Summary And Qualifications
- Complete routine assignments to include; maintenance of linen inventory in therapy gyms and pool area, cleaning hydrotherapy equipment and hydrocollators, cleaning mat tables and securing therapy supplies at the end of working day. Complete daily maintenance and equipment checklists.
- Transport patients to and from the nursing unit to scheduled therapy sessions. Assist in draping, dressing and undressing patients for treatment. Perform selected treatment procedures commensurate with training under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist. Appropriately adhere to treatment precautions, as directed by therapist.
- Complete as assigned: maintenance of patient scheduling, prepare and files daily therapy charges, prepare home programs, inventories supplies and equipment for the therapy department, and distribute therapist correspondence as assigned.
- Work within the rehabilitation team in providing relevant patient information regarding patient activity. Communicate changes in patient status promptly and accurately to licensed therapy personnel.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Certified in Rehab Tech course, preferred
