Food and Beverage Manager

Restaurant
Jackson, WY Full Time
POSTED ON 9/9/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 1/6/2027

Director of Food & Beverage

We’re seeking an accomplished Director of Food & Beverage to lead the F&B operation of a luxury boutique hotel in Jackson WY. This is the senior F&B leadership role, overseeing multiple dining outlets, beverage programs, private events, in-room dining, amenities, and employee dining.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who leads from the floor, understands the numbers, develops strong teams, and knows how to turn great food into an exceptional guest experience. You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef to create a unified FOH/BOH culture while owning service standards, operational performance, and the overall F&B P&L.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the guest experience and operational performance across all F&B outlets.
  • Be highly visible during peak service, coaching teams and handling guest recovery.
  • Establish and maintain Forbes-caliber service standards and SOPs.
  • Oversee private events, buyouts, special programming, in-room dining, and hotel amenities.
  • Partner closely with the Executive Chef on menu direction, food quality, labor strategy, food safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Own F&B financial performance, including revenue, food and beverage costs, labor, budgeting, purchasing, and profitability.
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers, supervisors, and service teams.
  • Build training programs and a strong management bench while improving retention.
  • Oversee cocktail, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage programs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, HACCP, and responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Provide the General Manager with clear reporting on financial performance, staffing, service, and operational issues.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5 years of F&B leadership experience, including at least 2 years at the Director level or equivalent.
  • Proven P&L ownership across multiple F&B outlets.
  • Strong FOH leadership and luxury hospitality experience.
  • A track record of developing managers and building high-performing teams.
  • Experience partnering effectively with Executive Chef-level culinary leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage operations, including wine, cocktails, and bar programs.
  • Excellent communication skills at every level of the organization.
  • Luxury boutique or independent hotel experience strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable with the physical demands and seasonal schedule of a floor-forward leadership role.

The Right Fit

You’re not looking for a back-office leadership position. You lead from the floor, take ownership of the guest experience, understand the P&L, and believe great hospitality starts with great people. You’re equally comfortable coaching a manager, solving a guest issue, reviewing financials, or partnering with the kitchen to make the operation better.

This is an opportunity to take true ownership of a sophisticated F&B operation, make an immediate impact, and build something lasting within an exceptional luxury hospitality environment.
