Operations Manager III – Event/Food Operations

A growing food truck services and events management group is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee event and vendor operations across the St. Louis metro area. This role calls for a hands‑on leader with hospitality or catering management experience who thrives in fast‑paced environments, values collaboration, and is eager to contribute to large‑scale projects and client partnerships.

This role reports directly to the Regional Director of Operations and offers full‑time stability, benefits, and long‑term growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of events and accounts, working directly with vendors and clients
• Assist with event budgets, site selection, vendor contracting, menu development, and run‑of‑show coordination
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards
• Support client relations and vendor communications, ensuring contracts and agreements are properly executed
• Oversee invoicing, accounts payable, and accounting requirements for events
• Prospect new vendors and clients to expand market opportunities
• Provide on‑site management for event set‑up and breakdown when needed
• Collaborate with leadership to refine processes and procedures

Requirements for Success

• 2 years of experience in food, catering, or hospitality management (food truck industry knowledge preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Communications, Business, or equivalent preferred
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, remain composed under pressure, and work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
