Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, following established recipes and safety standards.
- Take orders accurately using POS systems like Square, and process transactions with cash handling skills.
- Serve guests with a friendly attitude, upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in food prep areas, dining spaces, and during food handling.
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables quickly to keep service flowing smoothly.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
- Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail math is a plus but not required—training will be provided!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales, and inventory management are important.
- Strong customer service skills with an approachable personality to connect with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques preferred.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments like cafés, grocery stores, or restaurants helps but isn’t essential—enthusiasm and a positive attitude matter most!
