Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to drive growth by engaging directly with restaurant owners and hospitality businesses across the Bay Area.
This is a commission-based (1099) role, ideal for a self-driven sales professional who thrives in a performance-based environment and enjoys building relationships in the field.
In this role, you will identify opportunities, present our services, and close deals with restaurant and hospitality operators who can benefit from operational, strategic, and growth improvements.
This is a fully on-site role. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, prospect, and engage restaurant owners and hospitality businesses across the Bay Area
- Present Restaurant Harmony’s services in a clear, compelling, and value-driven way
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers
- Close deals and generate new business opportunities
Market & Client Development
- Identify restaurants and hospitality businesses with growth or operational improvement needs
- Qualify leads and uncover client pain points
- Represent Restaurant Harmony in the local market through direct outreach and networking
Qualifications
- Proven track record in sales or business development (B2B preferred)
- Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is a strong plus
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven approach
- Ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
- Must be based in the Bay Area and available for on-site work
Compensation & Work Structure
- Commission-only (1099 contractor), no base salary
- Uncapped earning potential
- Earn 10% of the annual contract value upfront upon closing
- Typical deal sizes range from $300 to $10,000 per client
- Fully flexible schedule, no minimum hours
