What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Cook, Tucker's $16+/HR position at Restaurant Gwendolyn?
Tucker's Italian is looking for a part-time cook to join our team in our east-side location. Qualified applicants should have three years experience in a scratch kitchen with a strong foundation in Italian and french cooking techniques.
This person should have a positive attitude, be willing to learn, be clean and organized and enjoy working with a variety of people.
Responsibilities:
- Prep – Prep foods according to specified recipes. Execute items and dishes during service in a timely manner. Follow the directions given by management and work with co-workers as a team.
- Clean and stock - Determine that the workstation are stocked with products needed. Clean and sanitize all work areas.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
- A good memory to manage multiple orders at the same time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and reach over your head
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and some holidays
