We are seeking a highly qualified Project Coordinator for an Architectural/ Interior design company with in-depth experience in food service or hospitality projects and a minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience. The ideal candidate is team-oriented and has experience working with project managers and designers to create and coordinate construction documents and manage timelines. This position is full-time. Compensation is based on experience and skill-set.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the project coordination with the consultant team for each phase of the project (typical; Site Planning, Conceptual, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Document and Construction Administration) to deliver a set of construction documents that will be used for permits and construction
- Handling permit submissions with health, building, sanitation / water and fire departments
- Provide AutoCad support for the preparation of project documents
- Assist the Project Manager or Architect with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.)
- Perform project code searches and analysis for each project
- Assist the Project Manager or Architect in the preparation of project schedules and deadlines
- Communication and coordination with clients, contractors, engineers, city and county officials
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- 12 years of post-academic, professional design experience.
- Permit processing experience a plus
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe, Microsoft Office
- Applicants must be highly organized and detail oriented. Must excel in working collaboratively and effectively with the ability to work on multiple projects through all phases
- Excellent verbal and written English skills.
- Must work in the office and project sites
- Must have own transportation to come to work.
