What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook/Prep position at Restaurant Cotton?
The Line Cook will play a vital role in the ongoing success of our culinary team at Restaurant Cotton, a well-established creative southern cuisine style brand located in the heart of Historic Downtown Monroe, Louisiana. We are one of the highest-ranked restaurants in our market and have been for over eight years. We have been featured in many national, state, and local magazines as a top Louisiana destination for Delta cuisine. Our facility is one of a kind, located on the Ouachita River banks in one of the oldest commercial buildings in North Louisiana with over 7,000 square ft. of usable space, including a balcony overlooking the river. Our brand is unique in many ways, but primarily because we have the more upscale dining fare that we call Cotton downstairs. Upstairs, we have our Planters Gastropub that is a Neapolitan style pizza and oyster-focused casual offering. Then also upstairs, we have the Eli which is a Victorian-style classic cocktail bar serving small plates. Each portion of the building has a unique feel, but we are all cohesively tied to the concept.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
