Job Summary
Restaurant Associates at Harvard Treehouse is seeking a dynamic Catering Operations Manager to lead the planning and execution of all on premise events. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and enjoys creating memorable experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with clients to design menus and event details within budget
- Coordinate with chefs, vendors, and internal teams to ensure flawless execution
- Hire, train, and schedule catering staff
- Manage vendor contracts, event logistics, and financial records
- Ensure high-quality service and resolve client concerns
- Be hands on during events to ensure operational excellence and coach your team to continuous improvement
- Review event performance and drive continuous improvement/ innovation
- 3–5 years of experience in catering or hospitality management
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets, staffing, and client relationships
- Comfortable working independently and adapting to changing demands
