Packaging & Compliance Coordinator
(Part-Time with Full-Time Opportunity)
RESTART is seeking a detail-oriented Packaging & Compliance Coordinator to support daily production, labeling, and compliance operations. This role is initially a part-time position and includes a 90-day introductory period. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and the ability to successfully manage the responsibilities of the role will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position after the introductory period.
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate product labeling, organizing compliance documentation, supporting packaging workflows, and troubleshooting equipment issues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Employment Structure
- Part-time position during the initial 90-day introductory period
- Expected schedule: 20–30 hours per week
- Hourly compensation based on experience
- Performance review conducted at the end of the 90-day period
- Successful candidates will be eligible for transition to a full-time Packaging & Compliance Coordinator position
Key Responsibilities
- Batch production orders and assign lot numbers to product labels
- Print and organize product labels for gummies, smokables, tinctures, and other product categories
- Maintain compliance records and update Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and product documentation within Airtable
- Verify accuracy of product labels, lot numbers, and compliance information before production runs
- Troubleshoot and resolve printer and label printing issues, including connectivity, calibration, and print quality problems
- Assist with packaging and production preparation as needed
- Maintain organized digital records and documentation to support regulatory compliance requirements
- Coordinate with operations, production, and quality teams to ensure accurate product information and labeling
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with Airtable, spreadsheets, and digital recordkeeping systems
- Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues
- Experience with label printing systems, packaging operations, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in hemp, cannabis, dietary supplement, food manufacturing, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with Certificates of Analysis (COAs), lot tracking, and compliance documentation
- Experience with barcode, thermal, or industrial label printers
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
