What are the responsibilities and job description for the Non-Emergency Medical Driver (W2) position at RESQRS?
RESQRS is hiring per-diem employees for our non-emergency medical courier & livery transport service.
Current experience driving for Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Postmates, GrubHub, Instacart or any other rideshare or food delivery gig service is preferable. This position may not be a good fit for those with other full-time obligations.
Make your own schedule! We will page out for trips and you may accept or decline based on your preferences. This is a year-round, all-weather 24/7/365 position. Per insurance, employees must have 5 years of unrestricted driving experience (no learners permits).
This is a per diem position that pays you to respond from home in a company vehicle and drive to destinations such as: Charleston WV, Baltimore MD, Philadelphia PA, Cincinnati OH, Louisville KY, Durham NC, New Providence NJ, New York City NY and more! Minimum flat rate pay is 2.5 hours for local runs when off-duty and responding to a page out. We also offer $90 per 24 hour shift on-call. Shorter shift/standby pay arrangements may be available.
Some out of town travel may be required and hotel stays may be encouraged. Strong time management skills are a must. Company policy mandates a minimum rest period after 16 engaged hours.
Candidates will need to:
- Pass a physical abilities test
- Be able to lift 50 pounds individually & 100 pounds with assistance
- Pass pre-employment drug testing
- Pass a criminal background check (PATCH)
- Pass a child abuse history clearance (CWIS)
- Have a clean driving record & insurable by company commercial auto carrier
