Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings, restaurants, stores, malls, shopping plaza's ect. ensuring all work complies with local building codes and safety standards. Your expertise will help deliver reliable water and waste systems that meet client specifications and project deadlines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on many construction projects, from new installations to remodeling and system upgrades, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial facilities, including water supply lines, drainage, and waste disposal systems.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and plumbing schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, plumbing inspection cameras, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct drain cleaning using specialized tools and techniques to ensure proper flow and prevent blockages.
- Perform plumbing system inspections to identify issues early and recommend appropriate solutions for maintenance or repair.
- Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and clients to coordinate plumbing work on-site while adhering to safety protocols.
- Use company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience with a focus on plumbing installation, repair, or remodeling projects.
- Proficiency in welding, pipe threading, drain cleaning, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of commercial plumbing systems as well as construction site experience.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and local building codes accurately.
- Experience operating plumbing inspection cameras and plumbing system maintenance equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, work at heights or in confined spaces, and handle manual tasks for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing projects.
- Handyman experience or background in remodeling is a plus for versatile project support.
