What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at RESQ BBQ?
ResQ BBQ in Leesburg, VA is looking for bartenders to join our team. We are a full-service sit down restaurant located at 528B E. Market St. and we will have a full bar, Liquor, Beer & Wine and a large collection of whiskey. We are looking to fill 6 to 7 shifts. Some shifts require the bartender to also cover the seating section.
Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- Interact with customers, take orders, serve food and drinks
- Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present specialty drinks
- Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a bartender or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
