A certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) specializing in sleep medicine plays a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing sleep disorders.

Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Evaluation: Conducting comprehensive sleep evaluations, including detailed sleep histories
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with sleep apnea
- Therapy Management: Manage therapies, including CPAP/BiPAP devices, to improve sleep quality and address underlying sleep issues
- Patient Education and Counseling: Providing patients with education on sleep hygiene, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options to promote better sleep health
- Collaboration and Coordination of Care: Collaborating with sleep physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
- Follow-Up and Monitoring: Managing follow-up appointments to monitor patient progress, adjust therapies, and ensure adherence to prescribed treatments
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and timely medical records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and improve the delivery of sleep medicine services
- Current NP license with APRN certification
- Board certification in sleep medicine or equivalent specialized training
- Current license in Florida with full practice authority
- 3 years of experience in sleep medicine or related field and/or 3,600 hours of supervised experience
- Experience with telehealth delivery preferred
- Excellent communication skills across digital environments
- Ability to build rapport with patients remotely
- Comfort with sleep medicine technologies and EHR systems
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
