BIOMETRIC TECHNICIAN
Contract Position with Customs Border Protection
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process and document a person’s identity to determine their status.
- Great customer service and ability to interact with people in a professional manner.
- Take photos, collect signatures and other information such as height, hair color, eye color and complete entry forms related to the biometric processes.
- Take digital/manual biometrics and initiate and process of database ID, perform quality checks on collected information and reconciliation of interim documentation such as foils, and stamps.
- Operate electronic/manual biometrics capturing equipment and all other supplies required to perform.
- Adapt to procedural changes and cooperative in implementing and testing new technology and standard operating procedures.
- Must be very flexible with schedule and work holidays as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum High school diploma.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish, both verbal and written
- Must be an U.S. Citizen and reside in the U.S.
- Must have a clean background and pass drug screen.
- Level 2 Security clearance must be obtained to start position.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and other basic programs.
Pay: starting at $19.00 per/hr
