Plant Manager
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead a well-established manufacturing operation and drive operational excellence across the site. This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people performance.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the overall plant operation, ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently, and in line with all regulatory and environmental standards. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will translate wider business strategy into effective site-level execution while building a high-performing and accountable culture.
This role requires a commercially minded leader who can balance operational excellence with financial performance, while developing strong teams and ensuring clear accountability across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the manufacturing site
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Deliver strong operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost
- Lead and develop a multi-functional leadership team across production, maintenance, quality, and warehousing
- Translate wider business strategy into clear operational priorities and execution plans
- Ensure efficient, reliable production while maintaining high customer and quality standards
- Take ownership of site financial performance including cost control, budgets, and P&L accountability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and operational processes
- Foster a positive, accountable culture where teams are empowered to take ownership and deliver results
About You
- Proven experience leading manufacturing or plant operations with full site accountability
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing cross-functional operational teams
- Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, costs, and operational performance
- Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards within manufacturing
- Experience using ERP or manufacturing systems to manage production and operational data
- A decisive and engaging leader with the ability to influence, challenge, and develop teams
Experience within manufacturing, industrial, or FMCG environments would be advantageous.

Remuneration:
Base: $155K – $170K
Bonus: 20% target
