Overview:
Are you a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist seeking a rewarding opportunity with the flexibility and independence of being your own boss? Respiratory Professional Solutions, LLC is seeking experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists/Certified Respiratory Therapists (RRTs/CRTs) to provide exceptional care to patients in skilled nursing facilities and other post-acute care settings in Winnabow, NC. As an independent contractor, you'll enjoy setting your own schedule while earning competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in post-acute care settings.
- Assess patients' respiratory status via screening interviews, physical examination, pulse oximetry, and spirometry.
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer respiratory treatments.
- Educate patients and nursing staff on respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered/Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) credential.
- Valid state license.
- Proven experience in a respiratory care setting, with nursing home experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
