RCCSMA is seeking an experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine team. Our providers work independently in the clinic with physician support readily available. We value our APRNs as providers and clinical decision-makers—not as scribes.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage pulmonary and sleep disorders.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and review medical records.
- Order diagnostic studies, including blood work, imaging, pulmonary testing, and home sleep studies (HSTs).
- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic pulmonary conditions.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications.
- Maintain accurate documentation and schedules within the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Florida APRN license required.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Previous experience in Pulmonary, Sleep Medicine, Acute Care, or Chronic Disease Management preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and staff.
