Requirements:

8 or more years of experience in enterprise software architecture and project leadership.

Proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and system engineering concepts.

Experience with modernization efforts for eligibility and case management systems (ESSAM).

Experience in designing modernized IT systems for SNAP and TANF programs.

Experience with federal compliance requirements (APD, NIST, FISMA, or similar).

Experience in overseeing API modernization, UAT, and third-party vendor coordination.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:

Lead the design and architecture of modernized IT systems for Economic Services.

Oversee technical planning, system integration, and the development lifecycle.

Provide technical leadership for project implementation, coordinating third-party vendors.

Ensure all development efforts comply with federal APD and security standards.

Lead team efforts to document new user stories, use cases, and system specifications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including federal partners (e.g., FNS).

Mentor developers and BAs, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
