Requirements

10 or more years of experience in healthcare interoperability and API architecture.

Proficiency in FHIR v4.0.1 and R5 standards for standardized medical data exchange.

Experience with CMS-9115-F and CMS-0057-F regulatory mandates and compliance protocols.

Experience with HL7 Da Vinci PDex, Plan-Net, US Core, and CARIN BB implementation guides.

Experience in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and the SMART on FHIR authorization framework.

Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Warehouse integration and state Medicaid MMIS systems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities

Architect and deploy vendor-hosted SaaS FHIR platforms within an accelerated six-month production timeline.

Develop and launch Patient Access, Provider Access, and Payer-to-Payer APIs for Medicaid populations.

Integrate large-scale data sets from cloud warehouses and operational systems into FHIR façade models.

Configure automated developer portals and sandbox environments supporting SMART on FHIR app registration.

Monitor system SLAs and generate monthly operational metric reports to satisfy federal compliance requirements.

Implement vendor-managed consent systems and perform security risk assessments for third-party integrations.

Oversee Tier 1 technical support and ongoing regulatory maintenance for production API ecosystems.
