Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of fundraising events and campaigns to maximize engagement and donations.
- Manage digital marketing efforts including email campaigns via platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, and social media management tools to boost visibility and supporter engagement.
- Develop compelling grant proposals and fundraising proposals to secure grants and sponsorships that advance organizational goals.
- Oversee database management using CRM software such as Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, and other databases to track donor information, contributions, and engagement history.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, volunteers, community partners, and stakeholders through strategic communication and personalized outreach.
- Coordinate volunteer programs and manage volunteer recruitment, training, and recognition efforts to support organizational activities.
- Assist in budgeting processes for events and campaigns while ensuring compliance with financial policies; monitor expenses to maximize resource allocation.
- Support public relations initiatives by managing media relations, preparing press releases, and enhancing the organization’s visibility across various platforms.
- Conduct research on potential funding opportunities including estate planning, wills, trusts & estate law to diversify revenue streams.
- Collaborate with team members on digital marketing strategies utilizing WordPress, social media platforms, email marketing tools like Mailchimp or Constant Contact, and other marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Administrative Support:
- Organize and maintain documents, forms, and program records
- Manage emails, scheduling, and participant communication
- Assist with student and parent outreach (calls, follow-ups)
- Help coordinate logistics for programs and events
Development & Funding:
- Research grant opportunities, sponsorships, and funding sources
- Assist in preparing and submitting grant applications
- Track deadlines and follow up on submitted applications
- Communicate with potential donors, partners, and community organizations
Community Outreach & Events:
- Represent Resources by Renae at career fairs, workshops, and community events
- Help build relationships with schools, businesses, and community leaders
- Support marketing and outreach efforts to increase program participation

Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning with a track record of successful execution of large-scale events.
- Strong skills in relationship management with donors, volunteers, and community partners.
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or Raiser's Edge; familiarity with databases is essential.
- Excellent proposal writing skills for grants and sponsorships; experience with grant proposal writing is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools including email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or Constant Contact), WordPress websites, social media management tools, and public relations strategies.
- Ability to develop strategic plans for fundraising campaigns aligned with organizational goals.
- Experience in nonprofit management or university-related environments is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with an ability to research funding opportunities related to estate planning or legal services such as wills or trusts.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within budget constraints.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
