YouthBuild Case Manager

ReSOURCE has been a fixture in Vermont since 1991, working at the intersection of workforce development, poverty relief, and environmental stewardship. Our YouthBuild program gives young people ages 16–24 a path to a high school credential, real job skills, and a career they can build on.

We’re hiring a Case Manager in Burlington to walk alongside those young people. You’ll build real relationships with participants, help them set educational and career goals, and connect them to the resources that make finishing possible — housing, transportation, healthcare, mental health support, legal help. When a student hits a wall, you’re the person who helps them find the way around it. You’ll be in the classroom, on the construction site, in the community, and occasionally on the road with students, plus our Barre site a few times a month.

What you bring

· A bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, education, psychology, or human services — or equivalent experience

· Experience working with opportunity youth or young adults

· Knowledge of local community resources and support systems

· Strong organizational habits and comfort with databases and documentation

· A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

· Trauma-informed, restorative, or positive youth development training is a plus

Schedule & Location

Position: Full-time

Schedule: Occasional evening, weekend and overnight hours are required to support program activities.

Location: Burlington Store with regular travel to the Barre site

Pay Range: $56,000 - $60,000 annually
