What You'll Do as a Reuse Specialist
On the front lines of climate action, Reuse Specialists keep reusable items in circulation while making high-quality goods affordable for our community.
In this role, you will:
- Provide friendly, professional customer service to both donors and shoppers.
- Sort, price, and display donations to keep the store organized and stocked with seasonally appropriate items.
- Help open and close the store and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Move items in and out of the store (with team support and equipment).
Every day, your work directly reduces waste, supports sustainability, and strengthens the local community.
Schedule & Compensation
- Hours: Flexible scheduling—full-time, part-time, or weekends. Great for someone seeking steady work or extra income.
- Store Hours: Monday–Saturday, 10 AM–6 PM; Sunday, 10 AM–5 PM.
- Location: ReSOURCE Williston Retail Store.
- Pay: $16.50–$17.50 per hour.
Job Requirements
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to a wide range of people.
- Comfort with physical work: lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally with equipment.
- Interest in learning about thrift retail operations and reuse strategies.
- Reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
