We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Administrative & Operations Assistant to join our team. This role is central to keeping our daily operations running smoothly — from scheduling routes and supporting customers to assisting with accounting, marketing, and general administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities- Answer and direct phone calls, greet walk-in customers, and provide friendly and professional assistance.
- Support customers with inquiries and coordinate service requests promptly.
- Schedule daily truck routes and customer services.
- Dispatch drivers and collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient route operations and on-time deliveries/pickups.
- Perform general office support including filing, document management, and record keeping.
- Assist with preparing shipping paperwork, taking shipment photos, and maintaining organized electronic and physical files.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Balance end-of-day reports and assist with invoice or payment documentation.
- Assist with customer recycling events, including setup, organization, and on-site coordination.
- Provide support for marketing initiatives, including basic social media updates, data entry, or promotional materials as needed.
- Enter and maintain data in customer and inventory databases.
- Help ensure records are accurate and up to date to support reporting and operations.
- Previous experience in administrative, operations, logistics, or customer service roles preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with warehouse, drivers, and management teams.
- Reliable, professional, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with computer-based systems.
- Team-oriented, dependable, and adaptable to changing priorities.
Starting at $17.00 per hour, with potential for a higher rate depending on experience and qualifications.
