Schedule A: Wednesday through Saturday 3pm-11:30pm
Schedule B: Fri, Sat, Sun 3pm-11:30pm
Schedule C: Wednesday through Sunday 3pm-11:30pm
The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to those suffering from Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders. Substance Use Disorders are chronic illnesses, and treatment provided is based upon the presenting needs of the individual. Our goal is to help individuals and families begin the physical, emotional and spiritual healing process by utilizing compassionate, encouraging and evidence-based practices. We ultimately strive to guide individuals, and their families, towards a goal of living life to its full potential-free from addiction.
We are currently seeking licensed Security Officers to secure the premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points. Provides a safe and secure environment conducive to quality patient care. Enforces all safety and security department policies and procedures related to the protection program concerned with physical and procedural security designed to safeguard personnel and prevent unauthorized access.
Task And Responsibilities
Protects the staff and clients by using preventive techniques that reduce risk and facilitate safety.
Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
Obtains help by sounding alarms.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Provide excellent customer service.
Adhere to all company service and operating standards.
Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers.
Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control, internal investigations, and accident investigations.
Protect companys property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
Report in detail any suspicious incidents.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent, GED Required
Current New York State Security License preferred
