What the position entails: As a member of the Electronics Cooling Business (ECB) team, the Program Manager will play a key role in executing customer programs and supporting the build-out of ours electronics cooling capability. This role is central to the transition from prototype builds to structured, repeatable low-volume production, ensuring coordination across teams and enabling successful delivery in a rapidly evolving, high-growth environment.

Major Responsibilities:

• Own overall program execution including schedule, priorities, and deliverables for flow loop and related assemblies
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams
• Translate customer forecasts and requirements into actionable build plans and production schedules
• Coordinate production activities across assembly, testing, and outsourced operations
• Track WIP, throughput, and build status to ensure smooth execution and on-time delivery
• Monitor availability of key outsourced components (e.g., cold plates, bent tubes) and escalate supply risks
• Support transition of key processes from outsourced to in-house (e.g., tube bending, cold plates)
• Ensure adherence to defined processes, work instructions, and documentation requirements
• Coordinate issue tracking and resolution with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams
• Support implementation of basic production planning, traceability, and change management discipline
• Coordinate logistics, material flow, and shipment readiness to meet customer commitments
• Track key program metrics including on-time delivery, build efficiency, and rework
• Actively supports and manages within the company’s mission, vision, Code of Conduct and Process Based Leadership guidelines.
• Actively supports our 5S Safety programs.

What a candidate must have to be qualified for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5 years of experience in program management, operations, manufacturing, or related roles
• Experience working in cross-functional environments supporting product development and production
• Strong organizational and execution skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient with MS Office products
• Excellent analytical, written, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Strong commitment to collaborative and innovative team environment
• Experience in thermal systems, heat transfer, or manufacturing environments is a plus

The title of this position has recently been changed from Program Manager to Business Operations Manager. While the position will initially be focused on executing a specific customer program, we are not looking for someone who wants to be a traditional, long-term program manager managing multiple projects. The intent is for this person to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of this new business area and grow into broader operations/production responsibility as ECB develops.

A few of the key things we’re looking for are:

• Strong operations/manufacturing background – someone with hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and an understanding of production processes and day-to-day operations.
• CNC/manufacturing experience – experience working with CNC equipment or similar manufacturing processes would be a strong plus, particularly someone who is comfortable understanding machine capabilities, production issues, and process flow.
• Cross-functional experience – they will need to work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial, so someone who is comfortable coordinating across functions is important.
• Strong ownership and accountability – we’re looking for someone who can take a relatively small operation and really own it, identify what needs to be done, and drive things forward without needing a lot of direction.
• Comfort working in an evolving environment – ECB is still being built out, so this person needs to be comfortable creating structure and processes where they may not already exist and adapting as the business develops.
• Hands-on problem solver – this isn't a role where they will simply manage from a desk. They’ll need to be close to the production process, materials, suppliers, quality issues, scheduling, etc., and be willing to jump in and figure things out.
• Potential to grow with the business – while the immediate scope is relatively small, we expect this role to grow into broader operations/production responsibility as ECB expands.

Overall, I think the biggest thing is finding someone with an operations/manufacturing mindset who is comfortable wearing a lot of hats and building something, rather than someone looking for a traditional, established program management position.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
