IT Software Engineer I

RMC is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our team. The Software Engineer I will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing software solutions to meet our clients' needs. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met and will play a key role in troubleshooting and optimizing existing applications.

• Design and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional software solutions
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code with thorough documentation
• Implement software testing strategies including unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality
• Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities
  
  

• Agile Developer Certification or Certified Scrum Developer Certification
• Security Certificate
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on programming languages such as Linuz, Java, C , or Python
• Experience with web application development technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular) is highly desirable
• Familiarity with database systems (SQL/NoSQL), version control systems (e.g., GIT), and cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• An active DoD Secret clearance.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $83,000 to $115,000 (annually).
