IT Lab Systems Support Specialist

RMC is hiring an IT Lab Systems Support Specialist to support our customer in Dahlgren, VA.

The selected applicant will{​{:}

• }Provide customer support in installation of IT Hardware/Software to support lab simulation launching kinetic weapons from various platforms.

• Configure IT Hardware and Software in lab to support customer need

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as upgrading hardware/software and installing required patches to ensure optimal performance of lab equipmen
t
• Conduct operational tests on lab equipment to ensure system availability and reliabilit
y
• Conduct required troubleshooting procedures of IT hardware and software to maintain availability of lab equipmen
t
• Manage account access to lab equipmen
t
• Maintain detailed records of hardware configurations, troubleshooting steps, and other relevant information.
 
• Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Active DoD Secret clearance is required to star

• H.S. Diploma or GE
D
• IAT Level II (Information Assurance Technical) or higher DOD 8140 under specialty area 45(Security ) within 60 days of start.
• Five (5) years of experience with demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software system

The current salary range for this position will be $85,000 to $125,000 annuall
