Data Technician

RMC is hiring a Data Technician to provide on-site support for our customer in Indian Head, MD (Stump Neck).  The selected applicant will be responsible for maintaining, retrieving, and compiling data and EOD Reports from multiple sources, as well as developing and maintaining databases. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support for the EOD Information Division, identification guides, preliminary employment manuals, specifications, technical reports, training materials, and other technical documentation in accordance with applicable government specifications.

Responsibilities will include:

•   Enter and manage data in Excel accurately and efficiently.
•   Maintain and update databases to ensure data is current and correct.
•   Perform data entry tasks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of records.
•   Organize data in a structured manner to enable easy retrieval and reporting.
•   Prepare reports from the data entered, and share with relevant teams or clients when required.
•   Regularly update spreadsheets, creating new entries and ensuring historical data is maintained.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and at least one (1) year of recent experience using standard office products including word processing and spreadsheets. 
• Must be proficient with Adobe Acrobat Professional and Microsoft Office Software.    
• Must possess accurate data entry skills and a high attention to detail.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. The applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $40,000-$50,000.
